Vision:
To promote, cooperation among men of letters and literary associations, schools, colleges, universities and cultural organization for development of tribal languages, art and culture.
To promote the learning of tribal languages including imparting training on tribal languages of major tribal units in the state.
To promote study, dissemination and compilation of tribal literature.
To encourage or to arrange preparation of primers of measure tribal languages to facilitated training.
To publish or to assists associations and individuals in publishing literacy works including bibliographies and bilingual and multi lingual dictionaries on tribal languages.
To sponsor or hold conferences, seminar and exhibitions.
To awards prizes and certificates to individuals after their successful completion of learning of a recognized tribal language.
To promote research in tribal languages, tribal art and culture and to encourage propagation of such study.
To collect, compile and publish tribal folk songs and tribal folk tales.
To encourage and promote study and research in the field of tribal paintings, sculpture, architecture and applied arts.
To set up institution to provide training and research in various fields of tribal languages, tribal art and culture.
To promote establishment of tribal art and culture centres.
>To foster cultural contacts within the state and outside through tribal art exhibitions.
To award scholarships and prizes to deserving tribal artists.
To accord recognition to tribal artists for outstanding achievements.
To encourages and foster the revival and development of folk art and culture.
To encourage theater, opera in tribal languages suitable for the rural areas and to give art and guidance for that purpose to institutions working in that direction.
To encourage and assist in staging of new place in tribal languages by awarding prizes and distribution.
To encourage and display tribal folk dance and music in different parts of the state.
To encourage and organize the adult literary centres in the tribal areas for eradication of illiteracy in tribal concentration pockets.
To do such other acts and things as may be required to further the objects of the Academy of Tribal Languages and Culture.
